Welcome to HIYA - Hemel Initiative for Youth Action - a youth project that brings together young people from  Hemel Hempstead. On this site you can find out about youth activities and events, World Youth Day, residential retreats, day trips and outings.  This summer we had a great day out in Brighton, played football, tried to fly a kite and ate lots of hot dogs at our picnic on the Moor and went paintballing. 

We are now running a new youth group for Year 7 and 8 secondary age students at Our Lady Queen of All Creation, they're located just off the A414 in Hemel Hempstead.  Come and check us out, our regular sessions will be every Thursday evening from 7pm - 8.30pm.  We have lots of fun activities in store for you and your friends. Our older group for Year 9  to Year 13 secondary age young people take place every Sunday evening at St. Mary's & St. Joseph Parish centre, Boxmoor from 7pm, following the Sunday evening mass.
